International experience

Before the end of their 3-year studies, all the students must have work experience abroad, at least for 3 months.

This implies that they have to work in a non-French-speaking country, so that they may improve their foreign languages and also discover another culture and way of living.

When they choose the “International” elective discovery course, students have the opportunity to spend one or two semester(s) in a foreign university.

To reinforce its cultural exchanges, the EMD is eager to welcome foreign students.

More than 100 international students (undergraduate and postgraduate students) attend courses in Ecole des Mines de Douai each year.
